Apple Reminders on Windows: no official app
There is no Apple Reminders app for Windows, and iCloud for Windows can’t show it in Outlook. Use iCloud.com online, or move the list into a Windows app.

TL;DR: There is no Apple Reminders app for Windows, and Apple says iCloud for Windows can’t show your reminders in Outlook. On a PC, Reminders is a page on iCloud.com that needs a connection. Stay if the PC is occasional. If you work the list there, copy it into Done Bear from your iPhone and start free.
What works on a Windows PC
Apple doesn’t make a Reminders app for Windows. What Apple offers on a PC is Reminders on iCloud.com: sign in with your Apple Account in Edge 130, Chrome 130, or Firefox 128 or later, and you can add, complete, and share reminders and manage lists.
That tab is a web page. It needs a connection to open, and Apple documents no offline mode for it.
| Path | On a Windows PC | Opens with no connection |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Reminders app | Not available | Not available |
| iCloud for Windows | No Reminders, no Outlook Tasks | Not applicable |
| iCloud.com | Browser tab | No |
| Done Bear Windows app | Installed app | No; it keeps working if the connection drops later |
What iCloud for Windows does, and doesn’t
Google’s AI Overview says to install iCloud for Windows, and several guides say to turn on Tasks for Outlook. Apple’s own pages say otherwise (checked 27 September 2026):
- Apple’s list of what iCloud for Windows does is Photos, iCloud Drive, Calendars and Contacts in Outlook, Passwords, and Bookmarks. Reminders isn’t on it.
- Apple’s article on the updated Reminders app says: “You can’t see iCloud reminders in Outlook when using iCloud for Windows on your PC.” It sends Windows users to Reminders on iCloud.com.
iCloud for Windows is still worth installing for photos, files, and your calendar in Outlook. It doesn’t put Reminders on the PC.
If you have an iPhone and a work PC
You have two workable setups.
Keep Reminders and use iCloud.com at the desk: this suits a PC you use now and then. Capture on the iPhone with Siri, and open iCloud.com when you need to check or tick something off.
Move the working list into an app that runs on Windows: Done Bear has a Windows app, a web app, and an iPhone app on one account, with Inbox, Today, Upcoming, Anytime, and Someday on each. If you still want Siri to capture into Reminders, turn on Reminders Inbox in the Done Bear iPhone app (Settings, then Import, then Reminders Inbox). It shows one Reminders list at the top of Inbox. Importing a reminder from there turns it into a Done Bear task and removes it from Reminders, after asking you.
Stay with Reminders if the PC is occasional
Stay if:
- You use a Windows PC now and then, and iCloud.com covers a quick look while you’re online.
- Siri, location alerts, or the Reminders app on Apple Watch are why the list exists. Those stay on Apple devices.
- You share lists with family or friends who all use Reminders on iPhone.
Move if the PC is where you plan the week and a browser tab that needs a connection keeps getting in the way. Apple Reminders alternatives compares more apps.
Move the list into an app on Windows
Current Reminders has no bulk export. Apple documents File then Export only on macOS Mojave or earlier. The export guide covers every route, including Shortcuts. Done Bear takes two of them.
From your iPhone (no file needed):
- In the Done Bear iPhone app, open Settings, then Import, then Reminders.
- Allow access to Reminders and pick the lists.
- Check the preview and import. Each list becomes a project.
This copies incomplete reminders with their notes and due dates. Completed reminders stay behind, and a repeat arrives as a line of text, such as Repeats: weekly. Reminders itself is not changed.
From an .ics file (a Mac on Mojave or earlier):
- In Reminders on that Mac, select a list, then choose File, then Export.
- In Done Bear on the web or in the Windows app, open Settings, then Import, then Apple Reminders, and upload the file. One list per file.
- Check the preview. Nothing is written until you confirm.
A file keeps more than the iPhone route: completed reminders, subtasks, start dates, and repeat rules. Attachment links come across in the description, but the files stay in Reminders.
The Apple Reminders migration guide maps every field on both routes. Once the list is in your account, sign in on the Windows app and it’s there.
How the Windows app handles a dropped connection
The Done Bear Windows app loads the Done Bear web app, so it needs a connection to start. Once it’s open, it keeps a copy of your tasks. If the Wi-Fi drops, you can keep adding, editing, and completing tasks, and the changes sync when the connection returns. Use the web app on a work PC that blocks installs.
If the app you’re missing is Things, read about moving a Things 3 list onto a Windows PC.

One list. Every device.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an Apple Reminders app for Windows?
No. Apple doesn’t make Reminders for Windows, and iCloud for Windows doesn’t include it. Apple lists Photos, iCloud Drive, Calendars and Contacts in Outlook, Passwords, and Bookmarks for that app. On a PC, Apple points you to Reminders on iCloud.com in Edge, Chrome, or Firefox, which needs a connection.
Does iCloud for Windows sync Reminders to Outlook?
No. Apple’s article on the updated Reminders app says you can’t see iCloud reminders in Outlook when using iCloud for Windows on your PC. Guides that tell you to turn on Tasks in iCloud for Windows describe a setup that no longer shows your reminders. We checked Apple’s pages on 27 September 2026.
Can I use Apple Reminders offline on Windows?
No. On a PC, Reminders is a page on iCloud.com, and Apple documents no offline mode for it. Done Bear’s Windows app also needs a connection to open, because it loads the Done Bear web app. Once it’s open, it keeps a copy of your tasks, so you can keep adding and completing them if the connection drops.
How do I move Apple Reminders onto Windows?
Export is gone from current Reminders, so use one of two routes. On an iPhone, the Done Bear app copies incomplete reminders under Settings, Import, Reminders. From a Mac on Mojave or earlier, File then Export writes an .ics file you upload on the web. Then sign in on Windows. Reminders itself is left unchanged.
Should I stay on Apple Reminders?
Stay if you use a PC now and then and iCloud.com covers a quick look while you’re online. Stay if Siri, location alerts, or lists shared with other iPhone users are why the list exists. Move if the PC is where you plan the week and you want the list in an app there, with the same account on iPhone.
