What counts as an active task?
Every task in your workspace that is not in the Trash, including finished ones in your Logbook. Archiving a task frees its slot, so clearing out completed work brings the number back down.
What happens when I reach 250 tasks?
Nothing is deleted and nothing locks you out. Done Bear stops accepting new tasks and says so, while everything already there stays readable, editable, and syncing. Archive finished work to free slots, or upgrade to Basic for unlimited tasks.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the billing portal in your workspace settings. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then drops back to Free. No cancellation fee, no minimum term, no email to send.
Do you store my card details?
No. Checkout and billing run through Stripe, so your card number never reaches a Done Bear server. We store the Stripe customer and subscription ids and the plan status, which is what unlocks features. Add, update, or remove a card in the billing portal.
Is billing per member or per workspace?
Per member, per month. Everyone in a paid workspace counts; the Free plan carries unlimited members at no cost. Yearly billing costs less per month: Basic is $7 per member each month billed yearly, against $8 billed monthly.
Do AI agents take a seat?
No. Done Bear bills per member, and an agent never becomes one. It authenticates as an existing user over MCP OAuth or an API key, so it costs nothing on any plan. Free carries unlimited members plus full agent access over MCP, the CLI, and the API.
What is the founding offer?
Sign up before 30 September 2026 and your workspace keeps Basic free permanently: unlimited tasks, up to 5 teams, up to 3 people. Members four and up bill at the ordinary rate. It applies to your first workspace, is not transferable, and does not run again.
What does Enterprise add?
Annual invoicing instead of card payment, support through your security and legal review, custom onboarding and migration planning, a dedicated success contact, and priority incident response. The app is the same one Business gets; Enterprise adds procurement, contract, and rollout help. Contact sales to scope it.
