MCP / Claude

Add Done Bear to Claude

Add Done Bear as a custom connector in Claude Desktop or claude.ai, then sign in with OAuth. Claude can read and manage your tasks with your approval.

Requirements: Available on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one custom connector.

MCP server endpoint

https://mcp.donebear.com/mcp

Connect Claude to Done Bear

  1. 1

    Open Connectors

Open Settings → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector". Team and Enterprise owners must first enable organization-level connectors.

  2. 2

Paste the Done Bear server URL

Paste https://mcp.donebear.com/mcp as the remote MCP server URL and save. No API key is required.

  3. 3

    Enable it and sign in

Enable Done Bear in a chat. The first task request opens a browser to sign in with OAuth.

Know before you connect

  • Paste the server URL manually and enable the connector in each conversation.
  • Mobile app connector support is inconsistent; use the desktop app or claude.ai.

Connect securely

  • OAuth 2.1

Sign in through your browser. Revoke it in Done Bear or by removing the Claude connector.

  • Read-only and write scopes

Read-only access cannot create, edit, or complete tasks.

  • Scoped to your workspace

The connector reaches Done Bear data, not other files on your machine.
